Men's Tennis Completes Farnsworth Invitational

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's tennis team concluded the regular season portion of the fall schedule for 2015 with the conclusion of Princeton's Farnsworth Invitational on Sunday.

Juniors Grant Riechmann and Sam Lampman were the only two Black Knights in competition on the final day. Lampman fell in the semifinals of the consolation bracket 6-4, 6-2 to Princeton's Jimmy Wasserman. Riechmann defeated Bucknell 6-2, 6-4 in an extra singles match.

"I thought our guys played well this weekend," said head coach Jim Poling. "We didn't see the results we were hoping for, but we fought hard. We feel good going into the ITA tournament next weekend."

The Black Knights will compete in their last event of the fall with the ITA Regional Championships in New Haven, Conn. Hosted by Yale from Oct. 22-27.
