Men’s Rugby Routs Delaware on the Road

NEWARK, Del. – The Army West Point men's rugby team dominated Delaware from start to finish in its record-breaking 81-5 victory on Saturday.

Army improved to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in Rugby East play, while the Blue Hens fell to 0-4 on the season with three of those losses coming in conference action.

ARMY HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES

The Black Knights improve to 1-0 all-time against the Blue Hens.
The 81 points in the game is a new program record for Army.
Eight Black Knights recorded tries in the match with four of them dotting down twice.
Freshman Bailey Abercrombie scored his first collegiate points in today's match with his first-ever three-try effort.
Junior Jake Lachina scored two tries in the match, bringing his career total to 16, a mark that ranks second on the career-scoring chart behind David Huff's 18 tries.

Jake Lachina got Army out to an early 12-0 lead with a pair of tries in the first four minutes of the match.
