HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's soccer team ran into a tough Colgate squad here Wednesday, dropping a 5-0 decision.
The Raiders got on the scoreboard in the 20th minute after Sarah Coy found the back of the net for her fifth tally of the year. Less than ten minutes later Sophi Lederer added another score for the home team following a made penalty kick.
Just before halftime rookie Mara Cosentino made it a 3-0 Colgate edge, creating a big hole for the Black Knights.
Two more second half scores for the Raiders ultimately sealed the victory for Colgate.

- Sammantha Sullenger, Sam Gottlieb and Brianna Nicholas each tallied shots in the contest.
- Corner kicks were also in favor of the hosts, at 6-1.
- Jordan Cassalia was forced to make nine saves, which ties her season high.
- Kate Meyer made her first career start for the Black Knights, while Helen Burleigh made her first career appearance in between the posts for Army.
UP NEXT
- The Black Knights remain on the road for a Saturday meeting with Boston U. That contest is slated for a 2 p.m. start.
