BOSTON, Mass. – The Army West Point women's soccer team saw Boston University score three second-half goals to defeat the Black Knights 3-1 here Saturday afternoon.

The match remained scoreless at the break until Boston U. netted the game's first goal in the 51st minute following a tally from Erica Kosienski.

The hosts added two more markers in the 61st and 63rd minute following back-to-back scores from Kelly Park. Despite a late goal from Samantha Sullenger in the 84th minute, the Black Knights weren't able to overcome the two-goal deficit ultimately dropping the decision.

ARMY HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES

The Terriers now hold a 4-0-1 all-time record against Army.
The home team also posted a 28-5 edge on shots throughout the game with a 14-5 advantage on shots on goal.
Sullenger's goal was her fourth of the season, which ties for her tops on the team.
Leading the Army attack was Clare Shea, who notched two shots, both of which were on frame.
Brooke Richardson and Brianna Nicholas added shots in the contest.
Jordan Cassalia recorded a season-high 10 saves.

TURNING POINT

With the Terriers leading 1-0, Boston U. added two consecutive tallies two minutes apart, which ultimately put the game out of reach for the Black Knights.
