Rifle Hosts No. 1 TCU

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point rifle team will finish out the first half of its 2016-17 season with a home match against No. 1 TCU on Sunday.

THE DETAILS:

The Black Knights (3-3, 1-3 GARC) split last weekend with a win against then ranked No. 15 Ole Miss (4670-4642) and a loss against No. 1 West Virginia (4712-4657).
On Friday, Army outscored the Rebels 2321-2293 in smallbore while both team scored 2349 in air rifle.
Against West Virginia the Black Knights fell in smallbore 2338-2303 and air rifle, shooting 2354 to the Mountaineers 2374.

SCOUTING TCU (6-0, 4-0 GARC)

The Frogs started off GARC play with a win over Nevada scoring 4708.
TCU then traveled to El Paso, Texas to take on Ohio State where it took down the Buckeye's 4868-4860.
The Frogs hosted Air Force for back-to-back shootouts last weekend. TCU swept the Falcons by at least 28 points both days.
