WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's tennis team makes its way out to Maryland this weekend for a pair of matches. The first is against Navy for the annual Star Match meeting on Saturday, April 2, at 11 a.m. Then the Black Knights make the short drive to Loyola (Md.) for a 10 a.m. first serve on Sunday, April 3. This is the first time that Army will be on the road in the spring season.
Women's tennis is relatively new to the rivalry as this will be just the eighth meeting between the two service academies. The Black Knights are 6-1 against the Midshipmen all-time. For the 2015-16 Star Series presented by USAA, Navy holds a 9-7-1 advantage.
