Cadets Participate in Seahawk Invite

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point golf team is traveling to Wilmington, N.C., to take part in the Seahawk Invitational.
The two day event hosted by UNC Willimington will kick off at 8:30 a.m.

Last year at the Seahawk Invitational Army finished third shooting an even par over the weekend scoring 281-295 – 576. The highest returning Black Knight was Dean Sakata who finished t-10th with a one-under par total of 143.
Two weeks ago, the Black Knights finished ninth at the Hayt Invitational shooting 295 (+7) during the three-day tournament. Senior Peter Kim finished No. 1 in a very competitive field with scores of 72-68-70 – 210 (-6).
HAYT INVITATIONAL
DATE: Sunday – Monday, March 19-20
LOCATION: The Country Club of Landfall (Willmington, N.C.)
COURSE INFO: Par 72 – 7,036 yards
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Two day 54 holes (36 on Sunday, 18 on Monday)
TOURNAMENT FIELD (15 teams): Akron, Army West Point, Campbell, Cleveland State, Davidson, #11 Kent State, #26 North Carolina, Rhode Island, Richmond, Rutgers and South Alabama
