Army Travels to Colgate Spring Invite

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's golf team will be competing in the Colgate Spring Individual Event in Hamilton, N.Y., over the weekend. This invitational is a singles competition with no team score.

Army finished fourth at the VGA/UConn Collegiate Invitational with a line score of 289-282-293 -- 874 (+10).
Firstie Peter Kim and cow Dean Sakata were the top finishers for the Black Knights. Both Cadets finished tied for sixth after shooting even (216) over the weekend.
Plebe Nick Turner was the next scorer for Army finishing tied for 11th with a score of 73-74-72 -- 219 (+3).
Fellow classmate Gunnar Doyle was the last Cadet athlete to score shooting 226 (+10) over the three rounds.

COLGATE SPRING INDIVIDUAL EVENT
DATE: Saturday-Sunday, 22-23
LOCATION: Seven Oaks Golf Club (Hamilton, N.Y.)
COURSE INFO: Par 72 – 6,834 yards
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Two day 54 holes (36 on Saturday, 18 on Sunday)
