COACHES CORNER
"We entered our relay here today with the intent of breaking our school record, which has stood since 1967. The record was set here at the Penn Relays so it is fitting that we broke it at the same meet. We were in the Championships of America section, which represents some of the most competitive teams in the NCAA. Our guys are competitiors so our finish place doesn't sit too well with them right now. But, given time they will realize the significance of their accomplishment. Our program continues to set high goals and expectations. We broke both distance medley record this weekend and are pointed in the right direction. We have some good field event completion tomorrow and out 4x800 meter relay will line up and be tested"
