Rifle Closes Fall Schedule With Loss To Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky.- The Army West Point rifle team completed its fall schedule with a loss to defending national champion Kentucky on Sunday.
"Air rifle was much better for us today, but still under par for us," head coach Web Wright said. "We have lots of work to do in kneeling when we get back."
The Black Knights were led by freshman Aaron Flowers, who shot a team leading career-high aggregate of 1160.

- Kentucky outscored Army by a score of 4691 to 4635.
- Freshman Aaron Flowers posted Army's top score, shooting a score of 1160.
- Sophomore Ben Davis was second, finishing one point behind at 1159
- Senior co-captain Payne Nunn was the teams top scorer in air rifle, posting a score of 591.
- Davis was second, shooting a 589.
- Flowers was the top smallbore shooter for Army, posting a 578.
- Sophomore Kaitlyn Kutz, shooting a 576.
