Army Set for Patriot League Play

WEST POINT, N.Y.– The Army West Point men's tennis team is set for a four-match Patriot League slate this weekend at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
The Cadets will face Lafayette on Friday at 12 p.m., followed by Holy Cross at 5 p.m. Army resumes play on Sunday facing Bucknell at 11:30 a.m., and will close out with a match against Loyola at 6 p.m.

ARMY (8-9, 0-0 PATRIOT LEAGUE)
- The Cadets are returning home from the West Coast after earning a 4-1 victory against Air Force, and 4-3 victory over the University of San Francisco.
- They finished the trip 2-1 overall, after dropping a 7-0 match to the No. 4 ranked Stanford.
- Senior Michael Nguyen earned Patriot League Player of the Week accolades, and was also named the Army West Point Athletic Association Athlete of the Week, after his third straight win against Air Force.
- The Black Knights are looking to extend their win streak to two matches.
HOLY CROSS (8-3, PATRIOT LEAGUE)
- The Crusaders recently dropped their first Patriot League match of the season to Colgate, with a 7-0 loss (Mar. 18).
LOYOLA (5-2, 0-1 PATRIOT LEAGUE)
- The Hounds are entering the matchup 0-1 in Patriot League play, after dropping a 5-2 loss to Lehigh (Mar. 18).
- They earned their most recent win against La Salle with a 5-2 victory (Mar. 17).
BUCKNELL (3-15, 0-0 PATRIOT LEAGUE)
- The Bisons are currently on a two-match losing streak.
- They were defeated 4-0 by Mich. State (Mar. 18), and Penn State, 7-0 (Mar. 18).
LAFAYETTE (8-3 PATRIOT LEAGUE)
- The Leopards suffered a 5-2 setback against Deleware (Mar. 4).
- This is their first Patriot League matchup of the spring season.
