Casanova Excels at Prestigious Winter Cup

FINAL RESULTS
LAS VEGAS -- Competing among the best in the country including current and former Olympians, Cole Casanova of the Army West Point gymnastics team excelled on opening day of the Winter Cup.Â
The senior captain qualified for the Winter Cup at this year's West Point Open and did not disappoint.Â
Casanova placed 25th in the all-around, but finished 17th on parallel bars (13.100) and 18th on still rings (13.300).Â
The Dallas, Texas, native posted a 13.050 on floor, 12.350 on pommel horse, 13.300 on vault and turned out a 12.550 on high bar.Â
The Black Knights host William & Mary at the Lou Gross Center next Saturday at 1 p.m.
