Golf Sits Fifth at League Championship After Day One

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Army West Point golf team sits fifth on the Patriot League Championship leaderboard after two rounds at the Naval Academy Golf Course.
The Black Knights finished day one of the event and 36 holes with a team score of 612 (+52). Loyola leads the team championship at 16-over par and Lafayette is second at 25-over par.
Dragon Theam was Army's top golfer on the day and he sits in 12th-place on the player leaderboard at 10-over par. He shot a pair of rounds of 75 to start the tournament. James McKee is in a tie for 13th at 11-over. He carded a 4-over 74 in round one and then shot a 77 in the second round. Marshall Daniel sits in the 19th slot on the leaderboard with a +14 through two rounds.
The teams are back on the course on Sunday morning with tee times beginning at 8 a.m.
