Men’s Tennis Drops Matches To DePaul, FAU

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Playing in their first dual matches of the 2021-22 season, the Black Knights dropped matches to DePaul and Florida Atlantic in the first day of the Arthur Ashe Invitational on Saturday.
Match Summary
Doubles
The doubles point was tightly contested with all three matches finishing the score of 6-4. The team of Diego Huttepain and Eden Samuel won 6-4 in two doubles. However, the Black Knights lost in No. 1 and 3 doubles to drop the point.
Singles
Diego Huttepain was the lone Black Knight to win in singles, topping Luuk Wassanaar, 7-6, 6-3, in two singles.

FAU won the doubles point after winning in No. 1 and 2 doubles, 6-0.
Singles
Army dropped all six singles matches in straight sets.
