Gymnastics Drops Season Opener to Penn State

West Point, NY - Army West Point Gymnastic's team fell to Penn State Friday by a score of 370.450 to 393.800.
Nick Lester and Max Rubin finished in the top two for the Black Knights on the floor, with Lester claiming the top spot. Maddox Pabellon scored a 13.450 on the Pommel which was the highest Army score (second overall). Gabe Almedia was second in the event for the Black Knights (third overall) with a score of 12.950. Jonathan Pinc set the highest mark of the day earning a 14.250 on the vault, coming in second overall in the event behind Penn State's Michael Artlip who scored a 14.500.
Nick Lester came in first place in the all-around and Zach Perez scored a 13.7 in the high bar to claim second place and set a new career high.
