Post Meet Reactions
"The team showcased impressive skills in a challenging match against strong opponents. Still some work to do to perfect some things, but overall pleased with the performance" – Head Diving Coach Connor Dorff
"The team had a great night of racing. Minnesota is an amazing team and it was a lot of fun getting to race them. Thank you to all the Army fans for coming out, and for watching online. It was great practice for racing under pressure, and we're looking forward to carrying the momentum forward to the Army-Navy swim meet!" - Catriona Gilmore
"This was a great facility for diving and the Minnesota dive team is awesome! We had a lot of fun and experienced a great confidence booster going into the next weeks of training." - David Manelis
"It's a privilege to swim with Army West Point as I continue to grow and adapt to college swimming and the military life. In addition, the bond I have with my teammates motivates me to continue to train as hard as I can and become better as a person. The opportunity to compete with a Big Ten swim program is a huge learning curve for all of us. The discipline and dedication they show in their races inspires all of us to continue to be competitive and work on good habits in and out of the water. I look forward to what our team can accomplish during this season. We have the strongest Army West Point team in history and I'm excited to see what we can do at Army-Navy and Patriot League Championships. On top of that, we have the opportunity to send some of our swimmers to NCAAs this year, which I am most excited for." - Thomas Hadji
"This meet was a blast and an awesome opportunity for our program. The stands were packed, crowd was loud, and the competition was great.
Our team stepped up well and raced tough across the board. Minnesota is a very high quality program and it was a much needed challenge to help us continue our climb.
When you swim top competition, you can hide the tiny mistakes that we sometimes get away with - we've learned a lot this weekend and have a lot to take into the next few weeks of training! Thank you to Minnesota for hosting such a special event and thank you to Kyle Sockwell for his hard work to evaluate our sport!" - Director of Swimming & Diving Brandt Nigro
