Williams Earns Patriot League Women’s Swimmer of the Week Title After Strong Weekend

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point Swimming & Diving senior Clara Williams earned her first Patriot League Women's Swimmer of the Week Title. Williams is the third Black Knight to claim the distinction this season and secured the honor with a trio of first place finishes in Army's dual meet with St. Bonaventure.
Williams, a senior from Tampa, Fla., helped the Black Knights claim their seventh win of the season with their 157-63 showing against St. Bonaventure at Crandall Pool on Friday night.
Williams earned three first place finishes with a 2:06.6 in the 200 IM, a personal best time of 2:03.76 in the 200 fly, and a 55.99 in her section of the 400 medley relay to help the team to an overall time of 3:51.62.
After Army's dual meet with St. Bonaventure, Williams now boasts 11 first place finishes thus far in the 2024-25 season.
