November 04, 2025 | Women's Swimming and Diving
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point swimming & diving claimed a pair of wins last week over Boston University and Boston College and the Black Knights' Molly Webber and Hadley Futch earned Patriot League weekly awards for their input in Army's success.
Webber, a senior swimmer from Morris Plains, N.J., earned the Patriot League Women's Swimmer of the Week title after her role as a key piece in Army's dominant weekend in Boston over Boston U. and Boston College. Army earned two wins at the double dual meet with input from Webber's two individual first place finishes and third place relay finish.
Webber first clocked a program-record setting 1:46.42 in the women's 200 free to earn first place before claiming the women's 100 free first place win with a 49.90 - just 0.01 seconds away from tying her program record holding time of 49.89. She then helped Army earn third place in the women's 200 free relay on a 1:33.90.
Due to technical issues at the meet, Webber's 200 free time was initially hand timed, but she took a time trial attempt after the meet with working equipment and broke the hand-timed results with a 1:46.26 to definitively set the new program record. Webber now holds the Army program record for five of the six women's freestyle individual events (100, 200, 500, 1000, & 1650).
Hadley Futch, a freshman diver from Sanford, Fla., earned the Patriot League Women's Diver of the Week title after she put on an impressive set of performances for Army in its double dual meet against Boston U. and Boston College.
The freshman claimed first place on both the 1-meter board (288.20) and the 3-meter board (286.90). Futch now has four first place finishes on the boards as a freshman.
