Women’s Tennis Heads to Navy for Star Match

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Army West Point Women's Tennis will seek a Star Match win Saturday at Navy, when they head to Annapolis to face its rival.
Track Tennis will stream each court, with iOnCourt providing live results.
The doubles portion of the match will commence at 10:00 a.m., at Navy's Tose Family Tennis Center. The singles matches will follow.
Notes and Storylines
» The Black Knights have won five team matches in a row, and are winners of 15 of their past 20 team matchups. Additionally, the squad is 14-3 at home this season, and own 12 shutout victories.
» Navy meanwhile maintains a winning streak of its own, winners of six straight dating back to a March 11 loss to Princeton in Orlando.
» The teams have evenly split the last eight matches in the series. Last season, the squads met twice. Army recovered from a home loss in the Star Match to dispatch the Midshipmen at home in the Patriot League Semifinals. Army's Ylan Duong secured the winning team point on the No. 5 singles court with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 three-set win.
» Army leads the all-time Women's Tennis series over Navy, 13-7.
