Golf Finishes Final Round of Mountaineer Invitational

Final Results

BRIDGEPORT, W.V. – The Army West Point golf team finished 15th at the Mountaineer Invitational with the final round concluding on Tuesday at Pete Dye Golf Club.

The Black Knights had a team score of 923 (+59) during the two-day tournament. West Virginia earned the team victory as the only team under par in the field. The Mountaineers were 18-under par as a team. Carson Kammann finished in the top spot on the individual leaderboard at 10-under, winning by one stroke over teammate Jackson Davenport.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Lake Kim was the only Army golfer to shoot under par during the three rounds at Pete Dye Golf Club.
• Kim shot a 1-under par 71 on the final day of competition with three birdies.
• John Heckel Jr. shot a 2-over 74 on the final day to be Army's top golfer and finished 13-over for the tournament.

The Black Knights are back in action on April 26 for the first round of the Patriot League Championship at Saucon Valley Golf Club.
