Final Results

AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Army West Point golf team finished 15th at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational at Forest Hills Golf Club over the weekend.

The Black Knights ended the two-day event with a team score of 920 (+56). North Carolina won the event, shooting 21-under as a team and earned the win by six strokes over Texas. Tobias Jonsson of Mercer was the individual champion with a three-round score of 9-under par and shot a 4-under 68 in rounds two and three.

TOURNAMENT NOTES:
• Samuel Kim was Army's top golfer through the three rounds at 12-over for the tournament.
• Drew Jeffords had the Black Knights' best round of the weekend with a 3-under 69 on Sunday.
• Jeffords did not give up a stroke this entire round and finished with three birdies.
• His 69 was one of 15 in the 60s on the final day.

Next up for the Black Knights is the Mountaineer Invitational and Army will then compete for the Patriot League title at Saucon Valley at the end of the month.
