Women’s Soccer Drops Wednesday Night Match Against Boston U.

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point women's soccer fell 3-2 to the Boston University Terriers (4-5-3, Patriot League 1-1-1) on Wednesday night. For Army (7-4-1, Patriot League 1-2-0), senior Brigid Duffy scored her second goal in as many games, while freshman Megan Youngberg scored her first collegiate goal.

- The Terriers jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead with back-to-back goals within the first five minutes of the game.
- Neither team was able to find the back of net in the first half, even though the Black Knights took 14 shots.
- The Black Knights finally broke through at 54:34 off a strike from Megan Youngberg. The freshman defender carrier the ball down the right sidelines and took a wide angle shot that the BU goalkeeper was unable to keep out as it bent back.
- Less than 10 minutes later, Army found the equalizer from senior Brigid Duffy. Sophomore Grace Pohlidal passed the ball in the midfield to junior Sabrina Rogers collected the pass and hit a thru ball to Duffy. Duffy beat the one Terriers defender and carried it around the goalkeeper.
- The Terriers netted the eventual game-winner at 72:38 to win 3-2.
