Duran and Pabellon Names Captains for 2026 Season

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point gymnastics and head coach JD Reive have announced their captains for the upcoming 2026 season. Senior Maddox Pabellon and junior Noah Duran will serve as co-captains, leading the Black Knights.
Duran appeared for the Black Knights on the pommel horse, still rings and the horizontal bar. The junior warned All-ECAC Pommel Horse team accolades and was a USAG All-American. He earned a two second place finishes in the West Point Open finals in the pommel horse and a career-high 13.400 on the horizontal bar.
Pabellon competed for the Black Knights in the pommel horse and Vault, appearing in every competition on the pommel horse. The senior won the routine of the year at the ECAC Championships and was a member of the All-ECAC Pommel Horse team. The Houston, Texas., native was a USAG All-American and qualified as an individual for the NCAA Championship final on the pommel horse.
The Black Knights will look to defend their upcoming crown this season, after winning the ECAC Championships a season ago.
