Women’s Soccer Secures Win on Senior Night

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point women's soccer earned a Patriot League victory on Friday night against the Loyola Greyhounds. For Army West Point (11-4-2, Patriot League 5-2-1), the win comes on senior night and in the victory senior Brigid Duffy scored her 13th goal of the season.

The Black Knights will travel to Worcester, Mass., for the regular season finale at 6 p.m. against Holy Cross on Wednesday. Oct. 29.

- The Black Knights got on the board with 16 minutes remaining in the first half. Sophomore Bella Conti was running thru the box with senior Brigid Duffy against one Loyola defender. Conti passed it across the box to Duffy, who took a strike to the bottom right corner to make it 1-0.
- Army took a 1-0 lead into the locker room and coming out of the half at 56:44, freshman Sophia Henry doubled the Black Knights lead. Conti took it down the side of the box and found Henry in the middle, who took a shot that hit the back of the net.
