Women’s Soccer Drops Final Regular Season Contest at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, MASS. – Army West Point women's soccer dropped the final match of the 2025 regular season on Wednesday night to the Holy Cross Crusaders (6-7-5, Patriot League, 3-3-3) by a score of 3-1.
In the loss, sophomore Grace Pohlidal scored her fourth goal of the season for the Army Black Knights (11-5-2, Patriot League, 5-3-1). Army will now enter the Patriot League postseason as the No.3 seed with the quarterfinals set to be played at Malek Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m.

The Black Knights will host the Loyola Md. Greyhounds on Sunday, Nov. 2 in the Patriot League First Round.

- The Holy Cross Crusaders opened the scoring at 26:27 off a corner kick to make it a 1-0 game.
- One minute and 23 seconds later, sophomore Grace Pohlidal tied the game off a header in the box. The Black Knights drew a corner kick in the right corner. Freshman Ragon Francy kicked the ball into the box, where Pohlidal outjumped the Holy Cross defenders and headed it into the net to tie it 1-1.
- At 31:31, the Black Knights committed a foul in the box resulting in a penalty kick for the Crusaders. Sophomore Karalyn Dail came up big in net for the Black Knights coming up with a save.
- The Crusaders added another before halftime and added another in the second half to make it 3-1.
The Black Knights will host the Loyola Md. Greyhounds on Sunday, Nov. 2 in the Patriot League First Round.
