Sprint Football Overpowers Caldwell to Stay Perfect at 5–0

WEST CALDWELL, N.J. — Army extended its unbeaten streak to five games for the 2025 season on Saturday night with a dominant 31–7 victory over the Caldwell Cougars (3-3). Army (5-0) has now won their previous 13 games and have outscored their opponents 194-37.
The Army Black Knights were led by running back Gabriel Bolivar who rushed for 196 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. His explosive 62-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter gave Army a 21–7 lead. Bolivar also added a four-yard score earlier in the quarter, finishing with an average of 10.9 yards per carry.
Army controlled the tempo from the outset, out-gaining Caldwell 500–324 in total offense and dominating the line of scrimmage with 322 rushing yards. Quarterback Kyle West managed the offense efficiently, completing 14 of 26 passes for 139 yards and adding 25 yards on the ground. Carson McFadden contributed a 39-yard touchdown pass to Parker Williams in the first quarter, giving Army an early 7–0 lead.
JP Ross added a 13-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to seal the win, capping a 77-yard drive that drained over four minutes off the clock. Army averaged 7.1 yards per play and converted 100 percent of its fourth-down attempts.
Defensively, Army was relentless. The Black Knights sacked Caldwell quarterback Jameil Lawrence six times for a loss of 34 yards and held the Cougars to just 13 rushing yards on 30 attempts. Linebacker Cameron Allen led the charge with ten tackles, including two sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss. Defensive lineman Thomas Golio added 2.5 sacks, while JC Romo recorded an interception and Drew Waldron contributed a punt return.
Army's special teams were equally sharp. Kicker Nicholas Cueto was perfect on the night, converting all four extra-point attempts and drilling a 24-yard field goal in the third quarter. Punter Alex Perine averaged 32.3 yards on six punts, with two landing inside the 20.
