Duffy and Henry Earn Conference Weekly Awards

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point women's soccer collected two Patriot League weekly awards after going 1-1-0 in conference play, this past week. Senior Brigid Duffy earned Patriot League Offensive Player Week, and freshman Sophia Henry earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week. The duo combined for nine points across the two games.
Duffy played for a combined 133 minutes across the two games. The senior scored three goals in the two games, including her second brace of the season against the Colgate Raiders on Saturday evening. The Queensbury, N.Y., native scored her fifth game-winning goal of the season. Additionally, she moved into the top ten in Army West Point women's soccer program history in career game-winning goals (8) and goals (26). Duffy recorded 13 shots with all four on net against Colgate.
Henry appeared for the Black Knights for over 100 minutes across the two games. Henry finished with four shots across the two games with all two on net against Colgate for a 1.000 shot on goal percentage. The freshman finished the game against Colgate with three points, a goal and assist.
