Coach's Corner
"Every day is a great day to be Navy," head coach Alma Kovaci Lee said. "I'm just really proud of our team, our coaching staff, and all of our support staff because, like I've said in the past, it takes a village to have success. Give credit to Navy, they played great volleyball. They fought hard like we knew they would. But we're so proud of our team because, whenever we needed people to come in and bring energy and bring the skill, they did. Also, it was just so special winning on Senior Night, winning for the seniors, for Mackenzie, Chloe, Ashli and Norah."
"We have some of the best outside hitters in the conference," Kovaci Lee continued. "We needed them to play at this level that they played at today. Mackenzie and Chloe knew it was going to be tough today, and they showed maturity in those tough moments. There aren't that many outsides in the league that can stay six rotations consistently like they do every match."
"The crowd was absolutely incredible and electric. They brought so much energy. A lot of credit for this win goes to them because our fans were amazing. Our band was great. So it really felt like it was a party in there."
