Round 2 Results

DORADO, Puerto Rico – The Army West Point golf team continued the week at the Dorado Beach Collegiate at TPC Dorado Beach and moved up to 11th on the team leaderboard following Monday's second round.

The Black Knights finished round two with a team score of 287 (-1) and currently has an overall score of 581 (+6). The hosts from UNC Greensboro remained in the lead at 24-under par as a team with a 9-under score on Monday. Jack Marcotte of UNCG is atop the individual leaderboard at 9-under through two rounds after shooting a 5-under 67 in round two.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Josh Kim continued to play well with another round of 70 (-2) to put him in a tie for 12th on the leaderboard
• Kim, who is competing as an individual, posted his second eagle in as many days and also had four birdies during his round.
• Drew Jeffords was one of two Black Knights to fire a 3-under 69 on Monday and he has moved up to 17th on the leaderboard.
• Rob Ferris joined Jeffords with a 3-under round of 69 after going 5-under in his final 12 holes with five birdies.
• Jeffords had a bogey-free round and posted three birdies.
• Griffin Garvin added his first career even-par round on Monday with a 72 thanks to four birdies and he finished his round going 2-under in his final 13 holes.
• John Heckel Jr. and Tyson Sparks concluded their second rounds with a pair of 1-over rounds of 73.

The Black Knights wrap up the Dorado Beach Collegiate on Tuesday morning.
