Dear Army West Point Community,
Welcome to the inaugural edition of From the Desk of AD #31, a new communication platform designed to keep you informed and engaged with Army West Point Athletics and the Army West Point Athletic Association. As your Director of Athletics, I am excited to use this space to share key updates on our department, highlight the achievements of our cadet-athletes, engage with topics relating to the fan experience, and provide insight into the ever-evolving landscape of college athletics.
With significant changes shaping college athletics—including name, image, and likeness (NIL), the transfer portal, and the NCAA House Settlement (more to come on that!) - my goal is to keep you connected to our progress and the remarkable accomplishments of our teams. These efforts align with the four strategic priorities outlined in our Fruits of Victory athletics strategic plan that includes Competitive Success, Providing an Extraordinary Division I Experience, Public Engagement and Revenue Generation, and Sustainability.
I look forward to keeping you informed about the exciting developments within Army Athletics and sharing this journey with you.
