Rabble Rousers Impress in Final Day at NCA/NDA Nationals

DAYTONA, FL - The Army West Point rabble rousers concluded their run at NCA/NDA Collegiate Nationals on Friday from the Ocean Center in Daytona, Florida with a pair of performances from the cheer team.
Competing in the Game Day 1A Division for the first time in program history, Army placed fourth with in the finals session with an 88.7333 raw score and 87.4458 event mark. Improving from Thursday's prelims, the squad had zero deductions in their finals performance after 1.25 deductions on day one.
In the Advanced Small Coed 1A Division, Army continued its proficiency as the only team of the twelve competing to have zero deductions in both performances on the week. Friday's finals saw Army finish ninth with an overall score of 97.2167, placing the team in ninth, ahead of Fresno State, Clemson and Arkansas State. It marked just the second time in program history that the Black Knights competed in the category, improving from its 2019 marks which saw a tenth-place finish with 4.0 deductions across the two days.
