April 17, 2025 | Women's Tennis
WINCHESTER, Mass. – Army West Point Women's Tennis will face the Boston University Terriers Saturday, with the No. 1 seed at the upcoming Patriot League Championships on the line between the two teams currently unbeaten in conference play.
Action will commence at 5:00 p.m. from the Winchester Tennis Club in Winchester, Mass.
The Black Knights sit at 21-5 overall and 7-0 in league play. BU meanwhile carries a 10-7 overall record and a 6-0 mark vs. league opponents.
Army defeated Navy April 5 for their first win in the Star Series presented by USAA since 2022. The Black Knights followed with a win at Lehigh April 12 and vs. Bucknell April 13. Meanwhile BU rallied to defeat Navy 4-3 April 12 before a shutout victory at Loyola one day later.
Army and BU have combined to win 18 of the past 19 league tournament championships, with the Black Knights winning nine titles in a row from 2005-13, and also claiming championships in 2018, 2019 and 2022. Army's 17 total Patriot League championships—all but one coming under current head coach Paul Peck—leads the league.

Army will await its first opponent at the Patriot League Women's Tennis Championships in Hamilton, N.Y. Regardless of seed, it will open the tournament with a quarterfinal matchup Friday, April 25.

In case of inclement weather, the championships will be moved indoors to Drumlins Country Club in Syracuse, N.Y.
