Macune, Ringdahl, Vizcarra, and Johnson Earn NIRA All-Academic Honors

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Women's Rugby put up a strong year both on the pitch and in the classroom and four Black Knights earned recognition for their academic efforts.
Grace Macune, TyraSoleil Ringdahl, Emily Vizcarra, and Natalia Johnson were recognized Thursday as members of the 2024-25 National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) All-Academic Team.
"We are incredibly proud of these four cadet student athletes who've earned this honor," commented Penny Anderson Head Women's Rugby Coach Jenn Salomon-Clayton. "This recognition reflects their commitment to academic excellence while balancing their military and rugby commitments which is no easy feat at West Point. It's great to see their hard work recognized."
With input from this quartet, the Black Knights earned a 6-3 record over the 15s season, highlighted by a shutout win over Navy in the second annual Star Match in Annapolis.
