WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Athletics and the West Point Association of Graduates announce the dedication of Adamouski Field, honoring CPT James "Jimmy" Adamouski '95. Adjacent to Clinton Field at Malek Stadium, the newly dedicated Adamouski Field will serve as the primary practice field for both the Army men's and women's soccer teams.
Adamouski was a 3-year letter winner for the men's soccer program. During his time, he led the team to two consecutive Patriot League finals, culminating in a championship for the Black Knights in 1993. He was awarded First-Team All-Patriot League honors and earned the prestigious "Coaches Award" for his leadership.
Adamouski was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Adamouski made the ultimate sacrifice for his nation on April 2, 2003. Jimmy will be forever missed but never forgotten. For his meritorious service, he was awarded a Bronze Star posthumously.
The dedication of Adamouski Field was made possible through generous Margin of Excellence support from Jimmy's teammates, classmates and close friends.
"Jimmy's legacy has a lasting impact on Army Soccer," Brian Plotkin, Army men's soccer head coach, said. "Hearing stories about him and the way people speak of him, it's humbling to be able to train the team on Adamouski Field. It seems a fitting honor for someone who lived a life of service and left an imprint on everyone he touched. Army Soccer is thankful to the many who contributed to making Adamouski Field a reality, and we will honor it with our hard work in the years to come."
During the 2025 season, the men's soccer team has posted a record of 3-1-4, while the women's team is 6-3-1.
