Wrestling’s Colbert Named EIWA Wrestler of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point wrestling's Brady Colbert has been named the EIWA Wrestler of the Week.
The 285 lb bout served as a key Army highlight in Sunday's dual vs Lehigh, with Colbert claiming victory over Lehigh's Nathan Taylor, ranked No. 5 in the Intermat Poll. Colbert—himself at No. 17 in Intermat at the time of the match—held a 4-1 lead in the final period and put any doubt aside in the closing moments with a late takedown and riding time point to win 8-1.
The sophomore from Virginia currently sits at 17-3 overall in 2025-26, including a 5-2 dual bout record and a 3-0 record in EIWA duals. A season ago, he made the NCAA Championships as a plebe.
Army is back in action Saturday vs. Hofstra and LIU at Christl Arena, with a 6:30 p.m. start and the senior night ceremony in between duals.
