Softball's Opening Patriot League Series Against Lafayette to be Played Sunday, Monday

WEST POINT, N.Y. — Army West Point softball (12-17) will now host its Patriot League home opening series against the Lafayette College Leopard (7-22, 0-3) on Sunday and Monday, 24 hours later than previously scheduled.
The series will begin with a doubleheader at the Army Softball Complex on Sunday, March 29, at 12 p.m. ET, then the second game will begin at 2 p.m. ET. The series finale against the Leopards will be played on Monday, March 30, beginning at 12 p.m. ET.
The series was initially slated for a Saturday start, but due to forecasted weather in West Point on Saturday, has been push back to start on Sunday.
Army swept Lafayette during Patriot League play last season and has won five of the last six against the Leopards. Last season, Army saw 11-4, 2-1 and 6-4 wins over the Leopards in Easton, Pa., from April 26-27, 2025
For fans who cannot make it to West Point on Sunday and Monday, all three games will stream live on ESPN+.
