Duffy Earns Fourth Consecutive Patriot League Weekly Honor

BETHELHEM, Pa. – Army West Point women's lacrosse senior Brigid Duffy earned Patriot League Midfielder of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. Duffy has now earned the honor in four straight weeks.
Duffy appeared and started in the Black Knights win over Patriot League foe Lafayette. She played a crucial role in helping the Black Knights to their second highest goal total of the season with 22 goals and the most in program history against Lafayette. Additionally, the Black Knights secured their fifth consecutive victory and fourth straight in conference play becoming the only undefeated team in conference play.
She finished with five goals, one assist, six points, 11 shots, eight shots on goal, four ground balls, four caused turnovers and six draw controls. Her five goals were the most in a game for a midfielder in a singular game across the Patriot League this week. She was a crucial component in the Black Knights Patriot League victory on both sides of the ball earning four caused turnovers and helping limit the Leopards to their lowest goal total of the season and only four goal scorers. Additionally, was important for the Black Knights who finished a perfect 18 for 18 in clears, a new team high and one of three teams in the conference to achieve a 100% clear percentage this week.
