Softball's Doubleheader at FDU Moved Forward Due to Weather

WEST POINT, N.Y. — Army West Point softball (14-18) will begin a doubleheader two hours sooner against the Fairleigh Dickison Knights (6-21), with first pitch set for 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
The doubleheader at the FDU Softball Field was initially slated for a 3 p.m. ET time start, but due to rain forecasted in New Jersey on Wednesday, the start time was moved forward two hours to the new 1 p.m. ET.
The last time the two teams faced off was in 2015 at West Point, with Army earning a 7-2 win over the Knights at the Army Softball Complex. Wednesday will mark the first time the two teams have faced off in 11 seasons.
For fans who cannot make it to Hackensack, N.J. on Wednesday, the doubleheader will stream live on NEC Front Row.
