No. 14 Men's Lacrosse Hosts Patriot League Semifinals at Michie Stadium

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The No. 14-ranked Army West Point (11-3, 6-2 Patriot League) men's lacrosse team welcomes opponents from around the Patriot League to West Point on Friday for the 2026 Patriot League Men's Lacrosse tournament. The Black Knights will face Lehigh (8-7, 4-4 Patriot League) in the first of two semifinal games at Michie Stadium on Friday afternoon.

National Rankings: The Black Knights earned a spot in three national polls this week. Army ranked 14th on the USILA Week 12 Coaches' Poll, 14th on the Inside Lacrosse Nike Lacrosse Week 12 Media Poll, and 16th in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Poll.
Patriot League Postseason Awards: For the third consecutive season, Army collected three of the Patriot League's major postseason awards. Evan Plunkett earned Offensive Player of the Year, John Sullivan earned Defensive Player of the Year, and Sean Byrne earned Goalkeeper of the Year. Keagan Treacy joined the trio on the First Team All-Patriot League while Hill Plunkett and Aiden Weisenborn represented Army on the Second Team All-Patriot League and Gunnar Fellows earned Patriot League All-Academic honors.
Scoring Surge: The Black Knights' sophomores and seniors have contributed a combined 253 of Army's total 286 points this season. The sophomores (a.k.a. yearlings or yuks) total a combined 129 while Army's seniors (a.k.a. firsties) are responsible for 124 of those points.
