WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Athletic Association (AWPAA) Director of Athletics Tom Theodorakis announced the hiring of Alic'a Oliver as the new Deputy Director of Athletics, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
"We are excited to welcome Alic'a and her family to West Point," said Theodorakis. "She brings a deep understanding of collegiate athletics from her time at multiple Division I institutions where those experiences will benefit our cadet-athletes every day."
The Deputy Director of Athletics, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is a senior level executive overseeing the Army West Point Athletic Association internal, day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, policy implementation, and alignment with AWPAA's Fruits of Victory strategic plan. The CAO will serve as coordinator for the AWPAA Board of Directors.

Currently she serves as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance & Impact, bringing a strong leadership background to West Point to help advance the goals and priorities outlined in the department's Fruits of Victory strategic plan.
Oliver has substantial national leadership experience as she currently serves as President of the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC).
Prior to her time with the Mean Green, Oliver spent more than three years as the University of Tennessee's Director of Compliance as well as serving as a Compliance Coordinator at Kansas State University.
After graduating from the University of Texas, Oliver earned her law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, serving as a legal extern with the LSU Athletics Office of Compliance. Oliver was born near the Army Airfield base in Kitzingen, Germany as her father, Major Darrell Oliver and mother Terri, served in the U.S. Military for over 20 years.
Oliver will be joined at West Point by her husband, Lucas, and daughter, Dreux. She will begin her role with the Black Knights on June 15.
