WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Men's Soccer head coach Brian Plotkin has announced the 2026 season schedule.
The Black Knights will play 16 regular season matches. Army has eight regular season fixtures scheduled at Malek Stadium, including one vs. academy rival Air Force on August 20, and will play Army-Navy Cup XV in Chester, Pa. October 9.
"We are looking forward to the 2026 campaign," said Plotkin. "We have a challenging non-conference schedule that will allow us to compete against some of the top competition in the country before Patriot League play begins. The group is eager and I'm excited for what's to come."
After three friendlies to open the season, Army will face Air Force on August 20 in the regular season opener, before a two-match road swing at Akron (August 24) and at Columbia (August 28).
Army then returns home for a pair of non-conference matches, facing Yale to close the month on August 31 before taking on Stonehill on September 3.
The Black Knights open Patriot League action at Boston University on September 12, before a September 15 non-league test vs. Stony Brook at home. Army then embarks on six consecutive conference fixtures, beginning September 19 at Lehigh. Two straight home matches follow, vs. American on September 26 and vs. Lafayette on October 3.
Army takes on Navy in Army-Navy Cup XV on October 9 in Chester, Pa. at Subaru Park, home of Major League Soccer's Philadelphia Union. The fixture—featured in a doubleheader with the Army-Navy women's soccer match—will also be part of the Star Series presented by USAA.
After the rivalry match, Army hits the road once more to face Holy Cross on October 17, before returning to West Point vs. Bucknell on October 24.
Army plays Fairfield in a late-season non-league match on October 27 before concluding the regular season vs. Loyola (MD) on October 30 and at Colgate on November 3.
The 2026 Patriot League Men's Soccer Championships are set for November 7-14, with the first round scheduled for November 7, the semifinals on November 10 and the championship on November 14. The higher seed will host each match.
Head coach Brian Plotkin returns for his sixth season at the helm, alongside associate head coach Jonathan Delano. Meanwhile, assistant coach Chris Koch will enter his third season with the Black Knights.
Army was 7-6-5 a season ago, with a 4-0 win in Army-Navy Cup XIV.
