Swimming & Diving Announces 2026-27 Schedule

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Director of Swimming and Diving, Scott Thacker, has announced the 2026-27 Schedule.
The Black Knights have 12 competitions scheduled for this upcoming season with eight of them to be hosted at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
To begin the 2026-27 season, Army will host the Kelley Lemmon Challenge (Intersquad) event at Lake Popolopen, located about 15 minutes south-west of the United States Military Academy, on Saturday, Aug. 29.
A few weeks later, the Black Knights will host the Bernstein Challenge (Intersquad) event at Crandall Pool on Friday, Sept. 11.
On Thursday, Sept. 24, Army remains at home and will compete in the Thursday Night Showdown competition.
The Black Knights will travel down to New Brunswick, N.J. for the two-day Rutgers Invite event beginning on Friday, Oct. 9.
Two weeks later, Army will host rival Navy at Crandall Pool on Friday, Oct. 23 as part of the Star Series Presented by USAA.
The Black Knights are back on the road Friday, Nov. 20 through Sunday, Nov. 22 as they travel to the Garden State for the Princeton Invite event.
The men of Army Swimming and Diving host their first competition of 2027 on Friday, Jan. 8 against Ivy opponent Harvard.
The following day on Saturday, Jan. 9, Army will compete at home in the Ice Cold Invite.
On Saturday, Jan. 16, the Black Knights travel across state lines to Lewisburg, Pa. to take on the Bucknell Bison.
The next Saturday, Army returns home to Crandall Pool for their Senior Day competition against Loyola (Md.) on Jan. 23.
On Thursday, Feb. 4, the Black Knights will travel to Charlottesville, Va. for the Cavalier Invite. Competition concludes on Saturday, Feb 6.
For the final competition on the regular season schedule, the Black Knights will host the Army Invite beginning on Friday, Feb. 5 and concluding on Sunday, Feb. 7.
Patriot League Championships take place Feb. 17 through Feb. 20 in Lewisburg, Pa.
Women's NCAA Championships take place Wednesday, Mar. 17 through Saturday, Mar. 20, and Men's NCAA Championships take place Wednesday, Mar. 24 through Saturday, Mar. 27. Both the Men's and Women's Championships will be held in Austin, Texas.
The men of Army Swimming and Diving went 6-2 last season and the women went 9-1. Both had a 3-1 record in conference competition.
The Black Knights also placed second in the 2026 Patriot League Swimming & Diving Championships and sent participants from both their men's and women's teams to compete in the 2026 NCAA Division I Swimming & Diving Championships. Three women competed in Army's first NCAA Division I Women's Swimming & Diving Championships since 1991 when the women's team first began Division I competition.
