Men’s Rugby Blows Past St. Thomas on Friday Night

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Spirits were high at the Anderson Rugby Complex on Friday night, as Army West Point men's rugby raced to a dominant 73-17 win over the St. Thomas (Fla.) Bobcats.
The Black Knights moved to 3-0 with the win and have broken the 70-point threshold in two of their three matches to date.
After the Bobcats tied the match at 7-7 early in the opening half, Army never looked back after regaining the lead. The Black Knights took a 40-point lead at the 40-minute mark, and didn't slow down in the second 40 minutes.
Chanc Loudenback recorded four tries for the Black Knights, while Porter Kuebler followed with two tries and Nick Trout connected on nine conversions.
