2017 (FRESHMAN): Made 10 starts while appearing in all 17 games during first year at West Point ... made first career start and collegiate debut in a win over San Diego State (8/25) ... netted first collegiate goal in a win over Sacred Heart (9/26).
Background: Joined the Black Knights from Orlando, Fla., where he was a member of GPS Orlando ... Before joining this club, Roman was a member of Orlando City’s U16 development academy team where he received multiple invites to U.S. Soccer’s training centers in his region ... He attended and played for Winter Park High School as well and was named the 2016-17 Spectrum Sports Orange County Male Soccer Player of the Year ... He was also tabbed to the 2017 Orlando Sentinel All-Area First Team and to the 2017 All-Orange County Metro Conference Team.
