2021: Collected Second Team All-Patriot League honors … Finished the year ranked first in the ITA Northeast Regional Doubles Rankings, alongside teammate AJ Woodman … Posted a 3-1 record in singles and a dominant, 8-1 mark in doubles play … Opened up the year with a five-match winning streak in doubles … Went undefeated in doubles play during the Patriot League Tournament … Held doubles opponents to two-or-less points on four different occasions … Collected his first singles win of the year at BU via a straight-set decision (April 10) … Beat his Navy opponent during the Patriot League Tournament (April 25).
2020: In his opening season with the Black Knights, Lake secured a starting spot early on and was a utility player in dual matchups ... went 4-5 in singles play finding the most success in the No. 4 ... went an even 4-4 in singles with partners Nikita Larichev and Diego Huttepain ... despite a slow start, Lake secured three straight wins from Feb. 2-8 against St. Bonaventure, Morgan St. and Georgetown .... strongest dual performance came in his second match as a Black Knight, against Tomasz Dudek of Purdue (6-1, 6-0) ... competed 7 of 8 doubles matches in the No. 2 slot ... Lake and Larichev found doubles wins against Georgetown, Morgan St., St. Bonaventure and Monmouth ... closed out the shortened season with dominating 6-2 win over Gabriel Busato and Will Cooke-Wharton of Monmouth ... was named Most Improved Singles player by his teammates at end of year banquet
Fall 2019: Lake advanced to the round of 32 at the ITA Regionals in the main singles draw ... his great run ended in the round of 32, as he was defeated by the No. 7 seed Ronan Jachuck of Harvard, 6-4, 6-3.
