Austin Rapp serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at the United States Military Academy for the Men’s Rugby Team.
Rapp earned his Master’s of Science in Athletic Training from San Diego State University in May 2025. While at State, Rapp received a diverse clinical experience getting to work at a top competitive high school in California, a competitive junior college, and an immersive with Stanford University’s football team. He finished his program by completing and presenting his team’s research findings on Professional Pitchers and Injury Rates with Different Throwing Motions.
Before his Masters, Rapp completed four years of undergrad where he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, graduated Summa Cum Laude and played college basketball. During this time, he gained clinical experience working football at the number one high school in the nation, Mater Dei, and another top competitive junior college.
He is a certified Athletic Trainer via the Board of Certification, certified in First Aid and CPR. He is also a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
A native of Mission Viejo, California, he currently resides in New Windsor, New York.
