Why West Point?: “When I was young, I was inspired by seeing the Army helping people in need around the world, including in Haiti and South America. I read about West Point in a book, which confirmed that it was the place for me. Since arriving, I have learned that being an officer involves much more than I originally understood and that service often means supporting the soldiers under your leadership.”
