COACH'S COMMENTS: "Katie plays with a great deal of confidence and has a strong presence in the net, much like Alex Lostetter (Army's school record holder for shutouts). She is very athletic and can cover the whole goal, and her experience playing at a high level with the Regional Team will allow her to come in with a presence as a freshman. The best goalkeepers tend to be natural leaders; the position demands it, and Katie is definitely a natural leader. We have no doubt that the goalkeeper position will continue to be one of our deepest on the team."
