Sawyer Hunt serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Army West Point, where he supports Men’s and Women’s Tennis, the Rabble Rousers (Cheer/Dance), and Football.
Hunt joined Army West Point in 2024 and has contributed to several championship-level programs, including Army Football’s historic 12–2 season and American Athletic Conference title, as well as national top-five finishes for the Rabble Rousers and strong Patriot League performances by the tennis programs.
Before West Point, Hunt worked with the University of Michigan Football team during its undefeated 2023 season, which culminated in the Big Ten, Rose Bowl, and College Football Playoff National Championships.
He earned his Master of Science degree from the University of South Florida, supporting student health services and the nationally ranked cheer and dance teams. He began his career at Kansas State University, earning dual bachelor’s degrees in Athletic Training and Gerontology while completing clinical rotations with K-State Football, Track & Field, and local high school programs.
A native of Cazenovia, New York, Hunt currently resides in Middletown, New York, with his wife, Mallory, and their dog, Jazz.
