TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The event will consist of 54 holes, with 18 being played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Teams will begin teeing off at 8 a.m., on Friday and Saturday. There will be a 9:15 a.m. ET shotgun start on Sunday.
COACHES CORNER
"The team is excited to get back on the course after a month of match play format events," stated head coach Brian Watts. "We're looking forward to finishing the fall season on a positive note.
Â
"We've had several players shoot low scores this past week during practice, so we hope to continue the good play throughout the weekend. Our team will have to make some adjustments from the Northeast weather and soft conditions to the fast and firm conditions in Texas.
Â
"At last year's event, there were a few holes that gave us problems, so we've discussed those holes and we'll make adjustments during the practice round. The golf course sets up nice for us and we expect to make a lot of birdies. Our guys have to limit mental mistakes and play aggressive."
Â
Army last competed in the Bush Cup against Northwestern two weeks ago, falling to the Wildcats, 10.5-1.5.
